Your tasks

You will participate in the development of the frontend electronics for the 25 microns pitch charge integrating MÖNCH hybrid pixel detector. You will test detector prototypes, analyze the data, and collaborate with the chip designers to improve the performance. You will simulate the devices and compare the results to your measurements in order to better understand and optimize the design. You will participate in experiments and beamtimes to characterize and optimize the performance of MÖNCH.

Your profile

  • You have a PhD degree in electronic engineering, physics or related subject preferably related to solid state detectors
  • You have a solid knowledge of analog electronics and you can analyze data preferably using Python or Root
  • You are highly motivated, can work independently and strive to contribute with new ideas
  • You like to collaborate, enjoy teamwork and can clearly communicate in good English with people from different backgrounds
