PhD Project: Nanostructures for Quantum Optomechanics
The Swiss Nanoscience Institute has funded a new PhD project led by Dr. Simone Iadanza and Dr. Helmut Schift in collaboration with Prof. Treutlein (University of Basel). The project will develop nanostructured metasurfaces and resonators to reduce noise and enhance control in quantum cavity optomechanics.
Swiss NanoConvention 2025
IPN attended the 2025 edition of the Swiss NanoConvention, which took place in Brugg-Windisch on June 12 and 13. The conference featured a great mix of talks in nanoscience and nanotech.
Unique quantum simulator opens door to new research
PSI physicists have teamed up with Google to build a new type of digital-analogue quantum simulator.
