The Committee for Equal Opportunities started to work on its projects when the decision of the PSI directorate in December 2008 was made. It is the committees mission to support the directorate in ensuring equal opportunities for all employees.
More precisely, this means the committee is in contact with the employees of PSI and is therefore able to propose measures to the directorate as well as support it regarding the implementation in order to increase equal opportunities at PSI.
The position of the Diversity Manager was created as a joint venture with Eawag in 2017.
The Diversity Manager is in contact with the Committee for Equal Opportunities and the Human Resources Management. She/he provides expertise, sets priorities in implementation and is responsible for monitoring and reporting.
