Promotion of Young Researchers & Leadership

PSI is committed to a sustainable increase in the percentage of women in leadership positions and decision-making boards. Therefore PSI is part of cooperations with e.g. the ETH or runs its own programmes, such as the Mentoring Programme for Women with Leadership Ambitions.

The field of action "leadership" can be divided into 3 pillars. One is "Recruit", focussing on improving the PSI recruitment processes. There are initiatives such as Smart Staffing. The second pillar, "retain", describes measures to train existing leaders. For example, by introducing a diversity module in the "CAS Leadership in Science". The last pillar, "develop", covers the promotion and development of employees, including our Mentoring Program for Women with Leadership Ambitions
