Looking back: Event on LGBTQIA+ Minority Stress

As part of Pride month in June, Dr Raphaël Bize, a specialist in internal medicine as well as prevention and public health, gave a talk on the “Minority Stress Model”. This model describes the mechanisms that lead to increased psychological stress and decreased mental health in stigmatized groups.

Dr. Raphaël Bize also highlighted how these mechanisms specifically affect the LGBTQIA+ community and which preventive measures can minimise these risks in the workplace.

The health and well-being of employees is of utmost importance for PSI. This event aimed to raise awareness of queer topics as well as promote an inclusive and supportive working environment for our diverse staff.

The recording and presentation slides are available to PSI employees on the intranet
