Quantum technology

March 10, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:30

The next generation of quantum computers is being developed at the Quantum Computing Hub, a joint initiative of ETH Zurich and PSI. On this tour, you will discover how trapped ions and superconducting qubits work, what makes them so powerful, and visit the laboratories where this new kind of computing is becoming reality.

Exploring ground-breaking research: the new exhibition “Visiting the researchers” has 13 thematic islands that invite you on a journey through the fascinating research at PSI.
