Your tasks

  • Be prepared to work hands-on in the development of new targetry systems and chemical separations
  • Perform chemical separations of current systems
  • Work with radiation protection, as part of the development of new radionuclides
  • Perform Isotope Separation Online (ISOL) and develop offline mass separation techniques
  • Assist in writing of project and grant proposals
  • Write scientific publications and attend international conferences
  • Supervise PhD students and technicians

Your profile

  • PhD degree in chemistry
  • Strong background in radiochemical separations; targetry and/or ISOL experience would be an advantage
  • Experience in working in a radiation protection environment
  • Ability to work on one’s own or in an interdisciplinary group
  • Strong command of the English
