You will work on the design of low area, low power analog to digital converters (ADCs) to be integrated in the next generation pixel readout chips for XFEL‐ and Synchrotron applications. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, test and characterization of small prototypes and full‐scale readout chips. You team up with other group members to work on topics like the system integration of the readout chips, the ADC configuration, calibration and high speed digital readout.
The successful candidate should have a PhD degree in electronics, physics or related fields with experience in chip design. Experience in analogue chip design for hybrid pixel detectors would be appreciated.
