Your tasks

The project aims to target extra cellular matrix proteins using specific peptides. You will be responsible for the design and chemical synthesis of these compounds as well as their subsequent biolgical evaluation in appropriate assays. The project is embedded in a larger international and Swiss network where your duties will be to cooridnate and align your project parts accordingly.

Your profile

We expect a Master degree in the field of Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biochemistry with a strong interest in chemical synthesis and in biological systems. A high interest in interdisciplinary work with the willingness to evaluate the synthesised compounds in vitro is required. The successful candidate is expected to have good social skills for working within a team of people from different scientific fields. Research experiences abroad would be of benefit and fluent english is required.
