On May 21, 2025, the Swiss DeepTech CVC Day took place at the Switzerland Innovation Park Innovaare – a significant event that brought together leading representatives from the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) sector and innovative DeepTech start-ups from Switzerland. The day was marked by groundbreaking conversations, in-depth discussions, and inspiring presentations.
Participants included representatives from technology transfer and entrepreneurship sectors from ETH Zurich, EPFL, and the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), who shared their expertise in various areas of the DeepTech ecosystem.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking and learning about how Corporate Venture Capital can support the growth strategies of DeepTech start-ups. Local start-ups such as Divea, Swistor, ZuriQ, 8inks, XRnanotech, and Metafuels presented their innovative solutions, which hold great potential for the future of technology and science.
CVC representatives from global companies such as Samsung Venture Investment, Honda Xcelerator Ventures, ABB, BP, Carmeuse, CMPC, Encevo, Engie, Hitachi Ventures, Idemitsu, MassMutual, Nemetschek, Orano, Scania, Shell, Stengg, Swisscom Ventures, TDK Ventures, and Telefónica took the opportunity to engage in valuable exchanges.
This year’s CVC Day has laid the foundation for further promoting exchange and collaboration in the DeepTech sector.
