Your tasks
- Development of systems from concept through to detailed design and practical implementation
- Finite element analysis using ANSYS
- Selection of appropriate resource-efficient manufacturing processes and product functionalities, taking into account safety-related and ecological aspects
- Preparation of technical documentation for the manufacturing and assembly of components and systems
Your profile
- Completed technical vocational training with further training as a mechanical engineer FH or ETH
- Several years of experience in mechanical engineering; knowledge in prototyping and/or special-purpose machinery is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD systems (preferably CATIA V6) as well as simulation tools
- You are comfortable dealing with various stakeholders in English and German
- With your proactive personality, you take the initiative to drive a project forward and work in a structured manner
- Experience with isotope targets, ISOL and RIB is a plus
