Your tasks
- Monte Carlo calculations of waste volume, nuclide inventory and dose rate for HIPA and PROSCAN
- Sensitivity analysis and evaluation of material compositions
- Develop and extend detailed Monte Carlo geometry models for several areas of HIPA and PROSCAN
Your profile
- PhD degree in nuclear or particle physics, nuclear engineering or material science
- Experience with radiation measurements at particle accelerators and in numerical simulation of radiation transport and induced activity in matter
- You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team and have very good oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge of German is beneficial
