Your tasks
- Development and qualification of methodologies for steady-state BWR core simulations
- Verification, validation and uncertainty quantification of codes and models for reactor dynamics and BWR stability
- Development of advanced signal analysis and numerical simulation techniques for reactor and core monitoring
- Technical and scientific support on core safety analyses for one of the Swiss reactors
- Preparation of scientific publications and technical reports
- Contributions to education activities and supervision of students
Your profile
We are looking for a team player able to work independently and with strong interest in methods development, validation and uncertainty quantification. The candidate should have a strong background in reactor core analyses and multi-physics simulations combined with good understanding of the BWR technology and operating features as well as high proficiency in programming and scripting. Experience in multiphysics analyses and uncertainties quantification would be an asset. Very good command of English is required and knowledge of German would be beneficial.
