For the Center for Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, we are looking for a

PhD Student in Preclinical Cancer Research

Your tasks

  • You will conduct preclinical cancer research in radiopharmaceutical sciences, utilizing established methodologies and developing novel in vitro models based on innovative approaches 
  • You will independently perform experiments to investigate new radioligands while also collaborating closely with other members of the research group and external partners to maximize research output 
  • You are highly motivated to develop professionally across all areas, including hands-on work in radiopharmaceutical laboratories, the application of new experimental in vitro techniques, scientific writing and supporting the supervision of Master and project students

Your profile

  • You have completed a Master study in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or any other related field 
  • You are well familiar with standard wet laboratory techniques (incl. HPLC, cell culturing, in vitro assays, etc.) and are interested in working with radioligands for medical purposes 
  • Scientific questions spark your curiosity and motivate you to address them to support the progress of the project 
  • English in spoken and written language as well as excellent communication skills are your strength
