PSI as Transfer Partner
PSI scientists are active in a broad spectrum of research activities, including the development and operation of large complex research facilities. Within these activities, they work on the one hand on projects focused on basic research, and on the other hand, on projects in application-oriented issues. To an idea of the broad scope of interest at PSI, we have listed a few areas below, which are of interest to the industrial R&D. PSI strives to make the knowledge generated accessible and encourages its exploitation. There are three basic models conceivable in terms of cooperation with the Paul Scherrer Institute:
- Licensing and transfer of technologies and know-how
- Utilisation of research facilities and know-how as R&D services
- Implementation of either research cooperation projects or contract research projects
