Patented filter method for the filtration of iodine

CCI AG

The CCI AG in Balterswil (TG) develops and produces valves for steam cycles of power plants. The company is a daughter of the international engineering company IMI Nuclear, based in Birmingham (GB), which has many years of experience in the nuclear industry. Since the end of April 2012, a licence agreement between PSI and CCI AG concerning a method for iodine filtration has been arranged. The CCI AG offers this filter method, which was developed and patented by the PSI, to power plants worldwide as an industry- and contract partner of the PSI.
Thanks to the cooperation with PSI we could achieve a strategic and a technical competitive advantage. The demand for effective filter systems has been increasing significantly. As a result, the market potential of this new technology is enormous. With the support of PSI, we can provide an essential procedure to our customers worldwide, which has a positive influence on our turnover and corporate success. We would again enter the cooperation at any time
