Dialogue with line manager
Your line manager has a duty of care towards you and is the first point of contact in the event of disrespectful behaviour or conflicts. They will listen to you and advise and support you in finding a solution. If a solution cannot be found within this framework, the "formal procedure" can be initiated with your consent. Your manager is entitled to act on his/her own responsibility if he/she considers the situation to be serious.
If you find a satisfactory solution together with your line manager, the consulting situation ends here. If you do not find a satisfactory solution, you can contact Human Resources or a confidential advisor.
