Scientist (Tenure Track)

Your tasks

  • Conduct independent research in quantum information and quantum optics with relevance to the trapped ion, neutral atom and superconducting circuit platforms
  • Collaborate with experimentalists at the Quantum Computing Hub and beyond to design and interpret experiments
  • Publication of the research results in peer-reviewed journals
  • Presentation of the research results at international conferences
  • Apply for research funding to support research activities

Your profile

  • PhD degree in theoretical physics, ideally in area of quantum optics, quantum information or a related field
  • Multi-year experience at postdoctoral level and excellent research track record in theoretical quantum optics or quantum information and a track record of working with experimental groups
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and able to operate in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills in English
