You will participate in developing new methods of convergent beam electron diffraction CBED and electron ptychography for high-resolution imaging. The developed methods will be applied for imaging 2D crystals, such as graphene, and noncrystaline samples such as individual macromolecules. The project will include theory, simulations, CBED, ptychography experiments, and data analysis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science or a related field. A track record in electron imaging is an advantage. Good knowledge of theoretical physics, condensed matter physics, scattering theory, optics, as well as programming skills for numerical simulation and data analysis are a plus. You are highly motivated, creative, have excellent team and communication skills. Good command of English is necessary.
