Nanofabrication of diffractive optics for X-Ray microscopy

Your tasks

  • Pushing the limits of nanolithography for advanced diffractive X-Ray opticals
  • Design and fabrication of diffractive optical components for high resolution X-Ray microscopy
  • Implementation and testing of these X-Ray optics in experiments at beam lines of the Swiss Light Source and other synchrotron facilities

Your profile

As a successful candidate you should hold a PhD degree in physics or engineering. Hands-on experience in micro/nanofabrication technology, diffractive optics, X-Ray imaging and synchrotron radiation will be relevant to meet the challenges of the project. You should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment. Being an enthusiastic researcher and a good team player will help to ensure your success in completing your Postdoctoral Fellow position in this exciting field of study.
