PhD Student

Your tasks

You will work on an interdisciplinary project in cancer research. A particular focus will be the evaluation and investigation of radiolabeled small molecules for tumor-targeted radionuclide therapy using established, as well as new, in vitro and vivo techniques. For this purpose, commercial and in-house produced radionuclides will be employed. An important task will be the investigation and mechanistic understanding of a recently-developed new class of folate ligands, which specifically accumulate in tumor types that express the folate receptor. The PhD project will be performed at PSI with Graduation from ETH Zurich.

Your profile

You have completed a Master- or Diploma thesis in biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences or an equivalent field. Candidates with knowledge of the German language or willingness to learn German will be preferred.
