- Commissioning of a low-temperature, high-pressure, high-magnetic field sample environment system for neutron scattering instruments
- Development of in-situ techniques to be incorporated in neutron scattering cryostats
- Engage in neutron scattering experiments
- Publication of scientific results in peer-reviewed journals, as well as presentation at scientific conferences and workshops
You hold a PhD degree in natural sciences with a strong background in condensed matter physics. You are experienced in design and construction of measurements setups and in the handling of pressure cells. You are an enthusiastic, dedicated researcher and enjoy challenging problems, where sophistication in both experiments and analysis of results is required. Preferencially, you have experience with low-temperature measurements and scattering techniques (neutrons or X-Rays).
Our institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration. You will profit from a systematic training on the job, in addition to personal development possibilities and our pronounced vocational training culture. If you wish to optimally combine work and family life or other personal interests, we are able to support you with our modern employment conditions and the on-site infrastructure.
