For the implementation of MRI imaging biomarkers for biologically guided proton therapy, your research will mainly focus on:
- Extraction of functional parameters from MR and PET images
- Implementation of 4D MRI imaging of functional parameters
- Characterization of local tumour aggressiveness and radiosensitivity based on imaging information
You should have a PhD degree in medical physics/biomedical-engineering or related subject, and have experience in 4D imaging applications in radiotherapy. Functional MRI imaging experience and the ability to extract features such as oxigen levels from MRI images will be evaluated positively, as well as good and demonstrable software skills. Furthermore, you should be prepared to work in a multinational and multidisciplinary team and have a good knowledge of English.
