Your tasks
- Acquire and analyze a benchmark dataset of brain tissue in support of large-scale neuronal circuit reconstruction
- Design and implement acquisition strategies that maximize measurement efficiency and data quality
- Support the reliable operation of the LaMNI endstation, including the use of a new high-speed detector at Swiss Light Source (SLS 2.0)
- Contribute to prototyping and validation of data processing pipelines
- Plan, execute, and troubleshoot beamline experiments
Your profile
- PhD degree in physics, signal processing, computational imaging, or a related field
- Interest in method development and experimental problem-solving
- Experience with large-scale imaging or computational image reconstruction is an advantage
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work at the beamline
- Works independently and collaborates effectively across disciplines
