Your tasks
- Design and simulate a Si-pixel-based muon spin spectrometer
- Contribute to the development of data acquisition and reconstruction software
- Perform and support muon spin rotation (μSR) experiments
- Collaborate in detector integration and system optimization
- Participate in teaching and graduate school activities at the University of Zurich
Your profile
- Master degree (or equivalent) in Physics
- Strong interest in instrumentation, data analysis, and experimental techniques
- Programming skills (C++, Python, ROOT) are a strong asset
- Background in condensed matter physics or materials science is an advantage
- Familiarity with detector technology and data acquisition is beneficial
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
