In addition to his role at PSI, Christian works at the Climate Policy Lab of the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). At ETH, his current research focuses mainly on modeling energy policies for sector coupling and enhanced flexibility in the SWEET PATHFNDR project.

Christian is a lecturer at ETH in the course "Quantitative Policy Analysis and Modeling," covering topics such as cost-benefit analysis, life cycle analysis, multi-criteria analysis, and partial and general equilibrium modeling.

Education and previous activities

Christian holds a master's degree in energy engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a PhD from Utrecht University. His doctoral thesis delved into the environmental impacts and economics of bio-based products, spanning fuels, chemicals, and materials.
