Holiday programme at the Nanolino daycare centre. This week, the after-school care children went on an exciting journey of discovery to Naturama Aarau.
Together, the children immersed themselves in the fascinating world of nature. They explored what makes up our environment, which animals and habitats surround us, and what challenges our planet faces today. The current exhibition ‘Cool down Aargau’ in particular brought climate issues to life in an age-appropriate way and showed how nature, humans and the climate are interconnected.
The children's many interested, curious and surprisingly profound questions made one thing clear: even the youngest children are already consciously engaging with their environment and developing a keen sense of sustainability and responsibility.
It was an educational outing that not only imparted knowledge, but above all aroused curiosity, stimulated reflection and showed how important early environmental education is.
