The Nanolino daycare centre is a place where children aged three months to kindergarten age can discover, laugh, explore, play and grow. In our lovingly designed rooms and spacious outdoor area, they find comfort and security, as well as a wide range of opportunities to shape their own world.
The focus is on the well-being and needs of each individual child, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. With expertise, empathy and mindfulness, we accompany the children on their individual journeys, creating a place where development happens with joy.
Our values and attitude
We see children as independent, competent individuals who want to learn and actively shape their environment. Trust, relationships and openness form the basis of our work. Each child is recognised for their individuality and supported at their own pace.
Our educational approach combines expertise with compassion. We promote self-confidence, independence and a sense of community, and teach children to treat each other and nature with respect. In our daily work, we value communication tailored to the audience, active participation and ensuring that children feel taken seriously and understood.
The educational concept of the Nanolino daycare centre and the orientation framework serve as our guidelines. They describe our values, goals and methods and are continuously reviewed and developed by our specialist staff.
Children discover the world. Spurred on by their curiosity. Attentively accompanied by us.
Our everyday life
Everyday life at Nanolino nursery is characterised by structure and freedom. Recurring rituals provide security and orientation, while open play periods create space for creativity, movement and shared experiences.
At our nursery, children learn through play and on their own initiative. We accompany them attentively and provide stimuli that encourage them to discover and explore. This creates learning moments that arise from joy, curiosity and enthusiasm – in line with child-friendly and holistic development.
Musical and creative activities, movement, language, nature experiences and social learning flow harmoniously into one another.
Cooperation with parents
Open and trusting cooperation with parents is central to our approach. We see ourselves as educational partners who engage in dialogue, provide transparent information and work together on an equal footing. Parents are warmly invited to participate in nursery life, contribute their thoughts and stay in touch through joint discussions about their children's development.
Organisation and support
The Nanolino daycare centre is part of the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Villigen and is run in accordance with kibesuisse guidelines. Our team consists of qualified specialists with teaching degrees and trainees, whom we train with great dedication.
We look after children in mixed-age groups and offer full-day care from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Our goal
We want to offer families flexible, warm and reliable care that is tailored to the individual needs of their children. At Nanolino nursery, children are allowed to be children – curious, lively, creative and secure.
