We are pleased to announce that the Call for TransNational Access (TNA) proposals for 2025-2026 is now open for you under a new rolling submission scheme!
The ReMade-TNA funding support represents a great opportunity for all scientists conducting circular economy research to benefit from a wide range of services including facility access, travel and accommodation support, user support and much more. As a hub dedicated to developing new materials for a circular economy, ReMade@ARI provides scientists exploring the properties and structures of recyclable materials with coordinated access to more than 50 European analytical research infrastructures.
The Rolling Call for TransNational Access (TNA) proposals of ReMade@ARI for 2025-2026 opened on 1 September 2025. Proposals can be submitted at any time during the period September 2025 - May 2026, giving you more flexibility and time to carefully prepare, develop, and refine your research ideas. However, analytical research infrastructures available within ReMade@ARI apply their own staggered closing dates. Scientists can still benefit from an extended analytical portfolio: 7 research infrastructures available within ReMade@ARI will accept proposal in April 2026, while 16 additional research infrastructures will welcome proposal submissions until May 2026, according to our Facility Schedule.
Please note that:
- the Accelerator Laboratory (AL, University of Jyväskylä, Finland) will accept proposal submissions UNTIL 1 May 2026,
- the Centre for Ultrafast Science and Biomedical Optics (CUSBO, Politecnico di Milano, Italy) and the Tandetron Laboratory (Nuclear Physics Institute, Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic) will accept proposal submissions UNTIL 8 May 2026,
- the Vienna Environmental Research Accelerator (VERA, University of Vienna, Austria) will accept proposal submissions UNTIL 22 May 2026,
- the ABC Laser facility (ENEA - Centro Ricerche Frascati, Italy), the Ion Beam Laboratory (IBL, Instituto Superior Técnico, ULisboa, Portugal), the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL, Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas, Greece), the Centre for Micro Analysis of Materials (CMAM, Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain), the X-ray diffraction facility (National Research Council, Italy), the Charles University and National Institute of Materials Physics (both available through CERIC-ERIC), the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF, for high-throughput high-energy X-ray scattering measurements at the ID31 beamline, France), the Laboratory of Ion Beam Physics Zurich (LIP, ETH Zurich, Switzerland), the HiLASE Centre (Institute of Physics, Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic), the Ion Beam Center (IBC, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Germany), and the Swiss Light Source (Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland) will accept proposal submissions UNTIL 29 May 2026.
We encourage all scientists who are planning to submit proposals related to experiment(s) foreseen to be conducted at at least one of the above-listed facilities to do so by the facility/beamline closing dates.
Other research infrastructures available within ReMade@ARI remain also open in April 2026 according to our 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘦.
