On Arrival Instructions

Please first pick up your badge at the security desk in the safety guard container left to the barrier at PSI West entrance. Afterwards proceed to the reception in the guesthouse building to pick up your key for the guesthouse.

If you arrive out of office hours (Mon-Fri 07:45 - 17:00) please pick up the phone at the entrance and call the security guard (phone number: 8350).

Every two years the PSI safety training course has to be refreshed. The safety training is integrated into the DUO badge application process and can be started here. Please also have a look at the general safety instructions and guidelines.

If you face any problem regarding computing during your stay at PSI please contact the PSI computing helpdesk.

Office space for our short term users is available in building WBBC. Please contact the PSI User Office.

The PSI User Office and Guest House reception hold a limited number of access cards for the PSI e-bike system, (Publibike). 

These bikes are ideal for use on the PSI campus, available 24/7, and for leaving campus for shopping or other activities between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. They are not intended for commuting to hotels outside PSI.

To use a bike, please contact the User Office upon arrival by calling 4666 or emailing us. Please note that the maximum rental period is two weeks.

The PSI restaurant "OASE" is open from Mon-Fri between 11:30 - 13:30  and 17:30 - 20:00. In addition there is the Cafeteria "Time Out" on the campus of PSI West next to the SLS main entrance. The "Time Out" offers fresh food and sandwich lunches during office hours and in addition 24/7 food from FELFEL vending machines.

The PSI Sportclub offers several sports activities. In particular gym access in building OSCB - next to the OASE restaurant - is offered for the residents of the PSI Guest House free of charge.
