Transport beam envelopes of the piE3 beam line

Achromatic mode

In this mode the accepted solid angle is 17 msr and the momentum bite is fixed to about 7.5% (FWHM). The vertical(horizontal) beam envelope is shown in the lower(upper) half of the figure. The red curve is a 1.order calculation with dp/p=0% and the green one is a 2.order calculation for dp/p=3%. The momentum of the central trajectory is 27.4 MeV/c. The magnetic field values are quoted in kG.
