Your tasks
- Project collaborations with academic and industrial partners in the areas of electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, and electrochemical energy conversion devices
- Academic proposal submissions and acquisition of third-party funding in collaboration with superior and other scientists
- Develop a competitive research program with specific focus on electrocatalyst development for different electrochemical conversion reactions
- Development and application of in situ and operando spectroscopic methods, e.g., X-ray absorption spectroscopy and/or others
- Publication of scientific results and presentation at international conferences
- Contributions to the management of the group facilities and equipment
Your profile
- Doctoral Degree in natural science or chemical engineering
- Strong background and experience in electrocatalysts for electrochemical conversion technologies
- Evidence of independent research potential (first author publications with different affiliations, acquisition of research fundings, international collaborations)
- Proven excellent publication record and/or industrial experience on electrocatalyst development for electrochemical energy conversion technologies
- Having a network in the international electrochemical community
- Excellent command of English both orally and in writing
