Overview
PSI offers summer internships to students who are about to finish their bachelor's degree and those enrolled in a master's programme at a university. Summer students are working on research projects within their respective PSI groups. In addition, a supporting programme is organised. It consists of
- lectures on research performed at PSI,
- tours of the PSI campus,
- social activities including a barbecue.
- lightning talks where students can present their work.
The typical duration of the internship (depending on student and supervisor availability) is 8-12 weeks. Financial support is provided to cover the cost of living in the area. In 2026, the supporting programme will take place from 3rd July until 21st August. Applications are expected to open in December 2025 with a deadline of 31st January 2026.
