Data Analysis

TASP data is stored in ASCII files in a format compatible with ILL's triple axis data files. The file name convention is

taspRRRRRYYYY.dat

where RRRRR is a 5-digit run number and YYYY is the year of data collection.

A rapid visualization of TASP data is obtained using the program "FIT". To start it simply open a new shell and type

>fit

The software for analyzing MuPAD data can be downloaded here.
