Research interests:

- Developing novel, highly active, nickel-based perovskite catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction

- Understanding and exploring the mechanism of Fe uptake in nickel-based materials during OER catalysis

- Modifying the electronic properties of electrodeposited Ni(OH)2 thin films for OER activity using transition metal doping and surface exfoliation strategies

Technical skills:

- Flame spray synthesis of oxide nanoparticles

- Rotating disk electrode (RDE) kinetic studies

- Operando characterisations (XAS, XRD)

- Material characterisations (XRD, XAS, SEM-EDX, TEM, ICP-OES)
