The Solid-Liquid interface chamber is a new project in collaboration with the group of J. Osterwalder (University of Zurich). By means of the dip and pull method, thin layers of liquid (10-30 nm) can be created and stabilized on top of a solid substrate. The buried solid-liquid interface is probed by means of tender x-rays, producing photoelectrons that can escape the thin liquid layer.
