Social Committee
The Social Committee is focused on organising events that bring PhD's and PostDocs of PSI together, be it for a BBQ or an ice skating event. As the Institute's location is rather secluded, it is ever more important to promote a community...and what is a better way to do that than grilling some meat and vegetables on a sunny day or enjoying a cup of hot punch at a local Christmas market together ? :-)
The committee organises events regularly, usually on a monthly basis. Their nature differs based on the time of the year but recent examples include barbecuing behind OASE, ice skating in Zurich, and visiting a Christmas market in Windisch. The committee also tightly cooperates with the Music Club of PSI, helping with concert organisation; at the same time, the Music Club often provides music during the events of the Social Committee.
- Organization of social events, concerts (collabs with the MUSIC CLUB) and trips, to:
- Facilitate cultural exchange
- Help make PSI an attractive place for young people & people young at heart!
- International Evenings, concerts and more!
