Biography
Swathilakshmi is currently a doctoral student in Microscopy and Magnetism group at Paul Scherrer Institut. She received BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NITK, Surathkal, India. During her Bachelors, she worked on carbon nanomaterials such as graphene and carbon dots. After completing Bachelors, she studied performance and application of newly introduced density functionals at IISc, Bengaluru, India. Subsequently, she pursued MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from EPF Lausanne. In her Masters, she studied catalyst stability for green fuel synthesis using in-situ characterization methods.
Scientific Research
Swathilakshmi's scientific research is focused on studying model catalysts for dry reforming of methane using in-situ X-ray and electron microscopy.
