Non-destructive examination lab

LNM operates a small lab for the non-destructive characterization of material ageing and degradation by various magnetic, thermo-electric and electrochemical tools. These tools are complemented by various characterization facilities at SLS, SINQ and SµSR (e.g., neutron and x-ray radiography & tomography, internal stress/strain measurement by diffraction).
