Infrastructure of the PPM group
The Physical Properties of Materials group operates a range of infrastructure suitable for measuring the functional properties of materials, both in the bulk and at the nanoscale. The instruments enable an understanding of magnetism, ferroelectricity, electronic transport, and dielectric properties, among others. For general correspondence, reach out to us at ppm@psi.ch. Due to a large number of measurement requests, we currently have limited possibility to accommodate short notice requests for the MPMS. Delays of up to two months can be expected until the backlog of measurements is complete, therefore please account for this when requesting MPMS measurements. All other instruments are currently operating normally.
