STARS - A Multi-Physics Multi-Scale Analytical Facility

SwisspOverview.png
The essence of STARS translates into maintening and further developing an advanced "Analytical Facility" referred to as the "Swiss Simulation Platform" (SwissP) and aimed at
  • the validation and qualification of state-of-the-art Codes in each technical area;
  • the integration of reference safety analysis Platforms for all the Swiss reactors and operated cycles;
  • the development and verification of computational Methods and Tools to establish systematic and integrated schemes for multi-physics multiscale simulations with uncertainty quantifications;
  • the participation to the Co-development of nuclear simulation codes.
