Neutron imaging of electrochemical systems

The Neutron Imaging of Electrochemical Systems group, led by Dr. Pierre Boillat, is engaged in the critical task of developing advanced electrochemical systems for conversion and storage applications. While the fields of study are diverse, we focus on applying state-of-the-art neutron techniques for visualization of operando. The group current activities mainly focus on fuel cells (polymer electrolyte), water electrolysis and lithium ion batteries. However, the field of applications is much wider.
