We are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow in in Ion Trap Quantum Computing. Further information about the position can be found here.

Furthermore, we are open to applications for Semester and Masters projects. Some of the available student projects for Autumn 2026 are:

20-zone trap chip with integrated photonics

  • Master's Thesis project on ion transport for parallel shuttling, splitting and merging.
  • Master's Thesis project on Parallel 2Q Mølmer–Sørensen (MS) gates and real-time calibrations.

Cold atom source (QuantumGuide)

  • Master's Thesis project on characterization of a pyramid MOT and using it to load an ion trap.
  • Master's Thesis or semester thesis project on simulations of loading of atoms in a hollow-core optical fiber.
