Two PSI summer schools in August

In August 2012 the NUM division again organizes two summer schools: from Aug 11-20 the PSI summer school on condensed matter research takes place at Institut Montana in Zugerberg. The topic of the 2012 school will be 'Imaging Life and Matter using Photons, Neutrons and Muons'. On August 19 the PSI summer school on particle physics begins. The subtitle of that school is 'Closing the Standard Model' and it is organized again at Lyceum Alpinum in Zuoz, Engadin valley. Both summer schools are mainly addressed to PhD students, Post Docs and other researchers at the beginning of their career and are meant to impart knowledge of the methods and scientific fields used at the PSI large scale user facilities.
