PPA committees

The scientific committee regularly organises tours with scientific content like an excursion to CERN, ZWILAG, large facility tours to SLS, SwissFEL, SINQ, etc.

Join us if
1) You have ideas for fun outings with a scientific twist
2) You want to help out organising one of the tours (also as a guide)
3) You are interested in networking at one of our events

  • Tours of scientific facilities
  • Promote scientific exchanges between different parts of PSI

  • Jungfraujoch research station tour in Autumn
  • Science barbeque with poster discussion
  • Co-organization of a 3-minute Thesis contest, with a grand finale at the 2026 beginning-of-year event
