NMR Spectroscopy

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a key tool in solid-state physics. The spectrum measurements allow the determination of intrinsic, site-dependent susceptibility, and the relaxation of the polarized nucleus provides information about the dynamics of materials. The NMR equipment at PSI is presented here.

NMR insert into PPMS

We have built and tested an insert to measure NMR signals in a standard 1"-bore PPMS.

Tuning material uniaxially

An add-on of a uniaxial pressure cell has been developed and tested. Please see the Reference Documentation for a brief overview.

Instrument Control and Analysis

Dedicated software has been developed to run the spectrometer and analyze the data. All relevant information about the ICA can be found in the following manual: Reference
