Tianlun Yu is a visiting PhD student from 2019 at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI), under the supervision of Prof. Donglai Feng and Dr. Vladimir Strocov. He got his Bachelor degree in Department of Physics, Fudan University. His Bachelor thesis focused on building up and programing the servo motor sytem of the APRES manipulator. Before his visit at Swiss Light Source, he has been well trained in the home lab in Fudan University and has several experiences in other synchrotron radiation stations. His PhD projects aim at VUV-ARPES and SX-ARPES studies on correlated electronic materials.

Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) study on correlated systems including supercondutors, heterojunctions and magnetism materials.

Also intereted in high-quality thin film growth.
