Based on three different geometries there are three main diffractometers at the ADDAMS beamline. The high-resolution powder diffractometer is base on a 1D detector covering 120 degrees, with a cylindrical geometry around the sample (typically a capillary). The second diffractometer consists of a versatile table with a fixed frontal 2D detector and is base on a conical geometry around the beam path. The last instrument has several circles to move both detector and sample, with a full 3D geometry around the sample.
