Control of the beamline optics is performed using the same EPICS software used to control the SLS machine.
The PEEM microscope is controlled by Elmitec's LEEM/PEEM program and the data acquisition is carried out by macros built using the Image-Pro Plus software.
Requirements for user-specific programs to control the beamline optics and the data acquisition can be developed and supported but should be discussed with the beamline scientists well in advance of the experiments.
