The conference on Highly Frustrated Magnetism (HFM) is the reference event in the field. After the success of the previous edition in Paris (June 2022), the last event was organised at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Chennai, during January 7-13, 2024. Ilaria Villa, PhD student, represented the activities of LNS and received one of the best poster prices for presenting the first results of her work on 'Ultra-low temperature magnetostriction of quantum spin ice materials'. Other than that, LNS was represented by an oral presentation on 'Dipolar-octupolar correlations and hierarchy of exchange interactions in Ce2Hf2O7'. We look forward participating to the next HFM! This is currently planned in Canada for the spring 2025.
